Last weekend I flew down to Nashville to spend a few days there. My parents met me there on their way home from Florida. Now I stopped in Nashville for a day on my way home last summer with my boyfriend and only got introduced to the city. I really wanted to spend more time there!

Nashville is the pinnacle place for country music. It is home to the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Opry House, and the Johnny Cash museum; just to name a few. Everywhere you walk, there's live music. There is live music in bars, hotels, and even shopping malls. Walking down Broadway, even in the rain, there is excitement and fun to be held. Bands and artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, and Kid Rock have their own restaurants that house food, drinks, and tons of music. Everything is within walking distance for the most part, with Opry Mills being 15 minutes away. We ate at FGL House and I got the shrimp and cheddar grits. Highly recommended!

When I landed, even the airport immediately puts you in the mood. You also notice they push Moon Pies, which of course I had to get one.

We basically visited The Grand Ol' Opry and shopped at Opry Mills. Here are some of my favorite pictures from that day.

Nashville is a great time to get your boot-scootin' boogie on and meeting some friends in low places. Graceland and Dollywood are some fan favorites in the general vicinity as well. What are your favorite things to do in Nashville? Leave a comment!
